On May 26,2019 the 28 th Italian auto parts exhibition (autopromotec), Europe's largest auto parts and tire exhibition, came to a successful conclusion at the Bologna Exhibition Center. The five-day exhibition attracted as many as 1650 exhibitors, an increase of 4.4 percent over the previous session. Bologna Auto parts Exhibition autopromotec was founded in 1960s and held every two years. It is held alternately with Essen Tire Show. It is a large-scale auto parts and tire exhibition in Europe, and it is one of the important exhibitions to expand the business channels of auto parts in Europe. After decades of development, the exhibition has developed into a real auto parts exhibition, such as covered car tires, wheels, car repair tools, car maintenance and so on. AUGUST 16, 2017 Northeast Tool, a contract manufacturer for the aerospace, defense, energy, medical, and commercial industries, has announced a $2.5 million capital investment in new machine tool technology at its Charlotte, N.C., facility. The company has purchased four new milling and turning machining centers from DMG Mori USA to support increased customer demand and future growth. The investment also will include an NZX 1500 turning center, DMU 50 5-axis mill, DMU 65 monoBlock 5-axis mill, and DMU 60 eVo linear with PH-150 robotic pallet handling.

OCTOBER 5, 2017 thyssenkrupp has combined its Forging and Machining business and its Undercarriage business into a new business unit, Forged Technologies. It new unit has roughly 7,000 employees at 18 production sites and a distribution network in more than 70 countries. The global integration includes seven businesses across North America: Undercarriage businesses in Waukesha, Wis.; Kilgore, Texas; Puyallup, Wash.; and Greenborough, S.C.; and Forging and Machining businesses in Danville, Ill.; Veedersburg, Ind.; and Puebla, Mexico.
